PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for easily printing arbitrary memo information to a passbook.SOLUTION: An automatic transaction device 10 to be a passbook handling device includes: extraction means 31 of extracting content handwritten in a passbook and generating addition printing candidates; storage control means 32 of storing the addition printing candidates generated by the extraction means 31 into storage means 33; display control means 34 of displaying the addition printing candidates stored into the storage means 33 on display means; printing candidate specification means 35 of specifying an addition printing candidate selected by a user from the addition printing candidates displayed on the display means; and printing means 37 of printing the addition printing candidate specified by the printing candidate specification means 35 to the passbook.
