PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation amount while keeping high packet-transmission performance.;SOLUTION: A packet switch comprises: a packet arrival monitoring part 10 for monitoring the number of arriving packets at input ports 2₁ to 2_N; and a number-of-processing-times determination part 12 which determines the number of times of the packet transmission determination by a scheduler 6 on the basis of the number of arriving packets monitored by the packet arrival monitoring part 10.
