PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote item utilization by users.;SOLUTION: A terminal 2 performs pop-up display of an area D to display user names representing users corresponding to respective user IDs in a user list GB in the area D (T55). If a user finds another user by who the user wants to be recommended an item in the displayed users, the user clicks on a user name of the other user (T56). Then, the terminal 2 transmits the user ID corresponding to the clicked user name to an item utilization promotion device 1 (T57).
