PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incorrect connection detection method of a camera link cable which detects an incorrect connection of two camera link cables for connecting a camera-linked camera and a grabber board, and provide an image acquisition apparatus using the incorrect connection detection method.;SOLUTION: A grabber board 30 comprises: a voltage level monitoring part 36 for monitoring a voltage level of a control signal CC 1 which constitutes a camera link; a synchronization clock monitoring part 37 for monitoring a synchronization clock Zclk of a full configuration; a data acquisition part 38 for acquiring the result of the monitoring parts; and a communication part 39 for transmitting data acquired by the data acquisition part to a PC. The voltage level monitoring part 36, when the voltage level of the control signal is not within a predetermined range, determines that a camera link cable which constitutes a medium configuration is incorrectly connected. The synchronization clock monitoring part 37, when the number of clocks of the synchronization clock is not within a predetermined range, determines that a camera cable which constitutes the full configuration is incorrectly connected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
