PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently read files that are divided into chunks.;SOLUTION: A storage node includes: a data rearrangement request receiving unit that inquires a meta server apparatus which storage node stores index information when receiving a request for rearrangement of data chunks. The meta server apparatus includes: a metadata storage unit for storing mapping information; and a metadata management unit for notifying the data rearrangement request receiving unit about a storage node that stores the index information on the basis of the mapping information. The storage node also includes: a content index transmitting/receiving unit for acquiring the index information from the storage node that stores the index information; a data chunk arrangement position calculation unit for calculating the position to arrange the data chunks on the basis of the index information; and a data chunk transmitting/receiving unit for rearranging the data chunks by exchanging the data chunks with other storage nodes on the basis of the calculated position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
