PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging method capable of achieving a high quality forged product.;SOLUTION: Inner periphery of forming space of a mold has a surface D restraining one side of a flange-like portion, a surface C restraining one side of a thick portion, a surface B restraining the outside of a rib, and a surface A restraining the end edge of another side of a peripheral drum portion. In the method, during molding a workpiece, a workpiece constructing material causing plastic flow is controlled to reach to the surface D and the surface B in this order, and subsequently to the surface A and the surface C simultaneously.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
