PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safer and more efficient facility and method for storing coal.;SOLUTION: The facility 100 for storing coal includes a plurality of coal storage tanks 102 which can stores coal therein. As for coal carried in the coal storage tank 102 from the outside or reloaded coal, when the temperature increases within a short period, the coal is supplied, without being reloaded, to the outside to be consumed. Accordingly, highly active coal is consumed early. Thus, safety of the facility 100 for storing coal is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
