PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the concentration performance of an anion exchange membrane used in salt manufacture without increasing its electrical resistance as compared with a conventionally used like membrane.;SOLUTION: The anion exchange membrane for salt manufacture is composed of a porous polyolefin substrate and a quaternary ammonium group-containing copolymer filled into the pores thereof and obtained by filling a polymerizable mixture containing chloromethylstyrene having a functional group capable of introducing a quaternary ammonium group and divinylbenzene into the pores of the porous polyolefin substrate and subjecting the resulting substrate to thermal polymerization.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
