PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a cash register, in particular, a cash register for visitors in a shop without newly requiring any special space.;SOLUTION: A compound machine 2 which offers services to visitors comprises article information reading means for reading, from an article, article identification information for identifying the article and a selling price of the article, and a cash register function implementing means for implementing an arithmetic processing function of a cash register on the basis of the article identification information and the selling price read by the article information reading means.
