Oil palm empty fruit bunch pretreatment method and combustion / heat recovery method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment method for empty fruit bunches of Elaeis guineensis, the method being applied to prevent the occurrence of a problem due to the inclusion of potassium in the empty fruit bunches of Elaeis guineensis, obtained by removing fruit from fruit bunches of Elaeis guineensis, before using the empty fruit bunches as a fuel or carbide material; and to provide a burning and heat recovery method therefor.SOLUTION: The pretreatment method to be applied before using the empty fruit bunches obtained by removing the fruit from the fruit bunches of Elaeis guineensis as the fuel or carbide material includes: a crushing step 11 of crushing the empty fruit bunches; a first press and dehydration step 12 of pressing and dehydrating the empty fruit bunches thus crushed in the crushing step; a heated water-adding step 13 of adding heated water for cleaning to the empty fruit bunches thus pressed and dehydrated in the first press and dehydration step; and a second press and dehydration step 14 of pressing and dehydrating again the empty fruit bunches to which the heated water is added in the heated water-adding step. The heated water for cleaning is discharged in a second crude oil-cleaning step 23 in which the crude oil subjected to a first crude oil cleaning process is cleaned again with heated water. In the first crude oil cleaning process, the crude oil obtained by squeezing the fruit obtained by being removed from the fruit bunches of Elaeis guineensis is cleaned with heated water.
