PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy change of whether to price-discount or give a point to, merchandise and a service that belong to a non-merchandise section.;SOLUTION: A merchandise selling processing device includes: setup means for setting whether to execute a discount for a section code of a non-merchandise section; setup result storage means for storing the setting result of the setup means; specification means for specifying a transaction target to be purchased; instruction means for instructing a price discount for the transaction target specified by the specification means; and selling processing means for executing selling processing for the transaction target at a sales price obtained by price-discounting a predetermined sales price of the transaction target if the price discount is instructed by the instruction means and if the setting result for the section code of a section to which the transaction target belongs indicates applicability of the price discount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
