PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone sampling instrument for sampling a bone on the patella side of the bone-patellar tendon by cutting a minimum necessary portion of the bone.;SOLUTION: The length of the distal end of the bone sampling instrument is the length of the patella to be sampled, and the cross section of the bone sampling instrument is semicylindrical shape. The inner diameter and outer diameter of the bone sampling instrument are the same as those of a trephine drill. A V-shaped handle is attached to a tail portion so that a cylindrical body can be easily held and rotated. By inserting the bone sampling instrument into the patella cut by the trephine drill and rotating the bone sampling instrument, the proximal end of the patella of the bone-patellar tendon can be twisted and cut.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
