PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the altitude of a target in a uniform linear motion at a constant altitude by a conventional two-dimensional radar only measuring distance and azimuth angle.;SOLUTION: Even by the conventional two-dimensional radar only measuring distance and azimuth angle, for the target in a uniform linear motion at a constant altitude, the target altitude is estimated using the distance and the azimuth angle detected in 3 scans.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
