Production manner of primary main wraparound pump and convection prevention feature for fast breeder

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable primary main circulation pump for a fast breeder reactor having a convection preventive mechanism in which attention is paid to corrosion, or an inner casing can be reliably drawn out and inserted, and to provide a method for manufacturing the convection preventive mechanism. PSOLUTION: The primary main circulation pump for the fast breeder reactor has a convection preventive mechanism which prevents any convection of inert gas filled inside double cylindrical casings including: an outer cylindrical casing covering a pump section and further extending upwardly; and an inner cylindrical casing provided inside the outer cylindrical casing. The convection preventive mechanism has a space between: an uneven part which is fixed to any one of the double cylindrical casings and has an uneven shape in a lattice shape; and the cylindrical casing in which the uneven part is not fixed out of the uneven part and the double cylindrical casings.
