PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile set preservation method, a profile set preservation program, a profile set preservation system and a color conversion processing device in which the time required for reconstruction of a profile set can be shortened while reducing a data amount to be stored in a storage.SOLUTION: The profile set preservation method comprises: a step (a)S900 for selecting any one of size preferential data having a size smaller than that of a profile set, or a reconstruction speed preferential data capable of reconstruction in a shorter time than the size preferential data and having a size smaller than that of a profile set but larger than that of the size preferential data, as a data for reconstruction capable of reconstructing a profile set; steps (b)S904-S918 for creating selected data for reconstruction based on a profile set; and steps (c)S904-S918 for making the data for reconstruction created at the steps (b) store in a storage device.
