PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a directive electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent glass coating film characteristics and magnetic characteristics by using an annealing separation agent whose particle diameter distribution is suitably adjusted.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing a directive electromagnetic steel sheet for applying an annealing separation agent consisting essentially of MgO after primary recrystallization annealing to perform finish annealing, the annealing separation agent having particle distribution having 15 to 30 wt.% fraction of ≤1 μm particle diameter and ≥2 wt.% fraction of ≥10 μm particle diameter, ≥100 sec CAA 40% value, 5 to 30 m²/g specific surface area and 0.7 to 2.0 wt.% Ig-loss is applied on a surface of the steel sheet in a slurry state to perform finish annealing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
