PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the entire circuit breaker and eliminate difficulty in transmission of movements in all of the breaking chambers.;SOLUTION: A high voltage or extra high voltage circuit breaker includes at least two breaking chambers that are electrically connected in series and are arranged in parallel to each other in a metal tank for each phase, an end of a chamber that is loaded on a common surface, through which at least a pair of movable contact sections is driven, and a mechanical transmission assembly. It further includes primarily at least two bars of the same length, each of which is connected to a pair of the movable contact sections in one chamber of a plurality of chambers and secondarily a drive means that is connected to at least one drive rod of the external side in the metal tank or penetrates the wall in order to convey continuous transmissions and secure the same stroke length for moving the movable contact sections in at least two chambers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
