PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a route for an optical packet signal without using an optical delay line.;SOLUTION: An optical packet transmitting device 11 has: an opto-electrical conversion unit 30 receiving a client signal; a route information extraction unit 33 extracting route information from the client signal; a packet transmission processing unit 36 generating packet signals from the client signal; electro-optical conversion units 41-1 to 41-10 converting the packet signals into optical packet signals respectively; and an optical transmission unit 42 for route information outputting light for route information having a wavelength λ0 different from wavelengths λ1-λ10 of the optical packet signals, and switching ON and OFF of the light for route information depending on the route information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
