PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an accurate calculation of the magnetic characteristic of a steel plate based on the aggregate texture of the steel plate made of a soft magnetic material even if the structure of each grain is not a single magnetic domain structure.;SOLUTION: A method includes: deriving a minimum angle αmin formed between a 100 direction of each grain A and a direction of a magnetic field H; by using the aforementioned minimum angle αmin, deriving a component H100 of the magnetic field H in a direction of axis of easy magnetization, the magnetic field H given to a calculation-object steel plate; deriving "a flux density B100 in the direction of axis of easy magnetization" corresponding to the aforementioned component from "a B-H curve of a single grain of the calculation-object steel plate in the 100 direction"; and, by using the derived "flux density B100 in the direction of axis of easy magnetization" and the minimum angle αmin formed between the 100 direction of each grain A and the direction of the magnetic field H, deriving a flux density B100H in the magnetic field H direction as "the flux density B100H(M, I) in the magnetic field H direction" of each grain A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
