PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstruction measurement method, an obstruction measurement device, and an obstruction measurement system by which a calculation amount per unit time becomes constant no matter whether speed is high or low, an upper limit of the calculation amount per unit time is defined, and cost reduction is achieved in either of hard processing and soft processing.SOLUTION: In an obstruction measurement method, an object area of obstruction measurement and a frame rate or resolution of an image by a stereo camera are changed according to speed of a traveling object, when distance from the traveling object to an obstruction is measured with the stereo camera.
