Cockroach repellent and cockroach evasion manner

P To provide a cockroach repellent capable of achieving an extremely safe and hygienic repellence of the cockroaches by using a photocatalyst and to provide a method for repelling the cockroach by using the same. PSOLUTION: The cockroach repellent consisting of a solution obtained by dispersing the fine particles of the photocatalyst is applied or sprayed ON a place where there is a possibility that the cockroaches live and wander. As a result, it is possible to decompose a cohort pheromone and/or a sex pheromone discharged from the cockroaches by the photocatalytic activity and thereby repelling the cockroaches that cannot perform cohort formation and/or breeding action.
