PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed flow fan including an airfoil blade easily reconstructing a desired airfoil faithfully as much as possible in the important portion of the blade, easily performing welding operation at the trailing edge of the airfoil, and hardly causing welding irregularity.;SOLUTION: Each blade 7 has a skin structure formed by one curved metal thin plate. On the skin upper surface 21 of the blade 7, the upper surface of the employed airfoil 18 is reconstructed to the trailing edge 22; meanwhile, on the skin lower surface 23 of the blade 7, a rear end 24 is ended before it reaches the trailing edge 22 of the skin upper surface 21. A welding bead 25 is applied onto the abutting line of the rear end 24 of the skin lower surface 23 and the rear surface of the skin upper surface 21, and the blade formed into a hollow body having the skin structure easily uniformizing joint strength and the shape of the bead is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
