PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet storage cassette and a paper sheet handling apparatus that can prevent paper sheets stored in a paper sheet storage part from being thieved when the paper sheet storage cassette is removed from the paper sheet handling apparatus, and can ensure a paper sheet jam solution even when paper sheets jam in the position where rollers of a storage/delivery mechanism are disposed. PSOLUTION: The paper sheet storage cassette 10 includes a roller rotation regulation mechanism for regulating the rotation of the roller 20 of the storage/delivery mechanism. The roller rotation regulation mechanism regulates the rotation of the roller 20 so as to allow the roller 20 to rotate in both directions of feeding paper sheets in and out when the paper sheet storage cassette 10 is loaded in the paper sheet handling apparatus 1 and to allow the roller 20 to rotate only in the direction of feeding paper sheets in when the paper sheet storage cassette 10 is removed from the paper sheet handling apparatus 1.
