PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a coated decorative plywood by which a decorative veneer allows a pattern of natural textile to stand out sharply and discoloration of the decorative veneer and reduction in the strength of the plywood caused by the influence of a base material are prevented.;SOLUTION: The method of producing a coated decorative plywood 100 includes: an alkali treating step of applying an alkali aqueous solution onto the decorative veneer 113 of a decorative plywood 110 and causing a pattern to stand out sharply, namely, controlling a color difference in material colors between before and after processing of the decorative veneer 113 to ΔE≥4.5 by using an alkali aqueous solution containing NaOH and having pH=13.0 or more; and a clear coating step, after the alkali treating step, of applying a nonpermeable and alkaline resistant clear coating material onto the decorative veneer 113 to form a clear coating layer 125 on the decorative veneer 113.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
