PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric control system that has high waterproof safety performance and is benign on users, having an on/off switch of a disposer which is free from contamination of various germs in a household wet area and which is sanitary and capable of eliminating electrical hazard such as electric shock.;SOLUTION: Waterproof safety performance can be enhanced with the use of an on/off switch for a disposer of a magnetic proximity switch type 1 which is a combination of a magnetic proximity switch 55 fixedly mounted on a reverse side of a stainless steel plate 45 in the upper peripheral edge of a sink and a magnet attached base 15. Also, using an electric control system of the magnetic proximity switch type, the invention is configured to let a person having hearing difficulty or being blind know by means of lighting, blinking display, or sound volume during the motor driving. The mechanism of the lighting and the blinking display is designed to be visible and confirmable at the garbage injection port by arranging the lighting or blinking display with LEDs in the garbage injection port or grinding chamber of a disposer composed of a translucent material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
