PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for verifying a partial discharge test apparatus, capable of verifying the operation of the partial discharge test apparatus without generating partial discharge.;SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for verifying a partial discharge test apparatus converts, into a current spectrum, a measurement of a current passing through a motor 51 when a high voltage is applied to the motor 51 connected with a power supply 55 and compares current spectrum intensity obtained by integrating a current spectrum of a partial discharge frequency band FB as a criterion of determining to be partial discharge with a threshold, thereby to verify whether or not the partial discharge test apparatus 50 for detecting the presence/absence of partial discharge is properly operating. A discharge master 2 having a resonance circuit generating a resonance of the partial discharge frequency band FB when a high voltage is applied is connected with a high voltage power supply 55. A current value of a current output from the discharge master 2 is analyzed to obtain a current spectrum and when the partial discharge frequency band FB has a frequency component Y, determines that the partial discharge test apparatus 50 is properly operating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
