PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a step-up type switching regulator capable of preventing the generation of an inrush current by a simple circuit configuration.;SOLUTION: The step-up type switching regulator includes a switching transistor M1 switching in response to a signal input to a gate; an inductor L1 charged by an input voltage Vin by switching the switching transistor M1; and a diode D1 discharging the inductor L1. The step-up type switching regulator, further, includes a PMOS transistor M2 supplying the inductor L1 with the input voltage Vin, in response to the signal input to the gate; and the PMOS transistor M3 supplying the inductor L1 with the input voltage Vin, in response to a seizing signal ENB. The switching of the switching transistor M1 is controlled so that a return voltage Vfb reaches a reference voltage Vr, and the PMOS transistor M2 is turned on, after a fixed time has elapsed, after the PMOS transistor M3 has turned on at starting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
