PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum chelate-based latent curing agent which exhibits sharp thermal response in a low-temperature region while using an interfacial polymerization product of a polyfunctional isocyanate compound as a microcapsule wall.;SOLUTION: The aluminum chelate-based latent curing agent for curing a thermosetting epoxy resin, is characterized by simultaneously being held in a porous resin obtained by radically polymerizing a polymerizable compound in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator when interfacially polymerizing the polyfunctional isocyanate compound.
