It is intended to provide a contrast agent for X-ray imaging, MRI and so on, which is appropriately usable particularly for diagnosing liver cancer. As a means therefor, a liposome characterized by containing a compound for a contrast agent enclosed therein and having a sugar-modified surface is provided.
