PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct irregularity of ejection amount characteristics of a metering valve of a fuel supply pump without causing disturbance to a stable rail pressure control state.;SOLUTION: A command pump ejection amount calculated according to the difference between a target rail pressure and an actual rail pressure by PID control is divided by a correction reflection coefficient facB. An energizing current corresponding to a correction command pump ejection amount as a result thereof is supplied to a metering valve 6. A necessary ejection amount theoretically needed is divided by a command pump ejection amount correction coefficient corresponding to the operation efficiency of a high pressure pump 7. The division result is divided by a correction command pump ejection amount for calculating a correction coefficient facA. By repeating calculation of the correction reflection coefficient facB by a predetermined calculation formula based on the correction coefficient facA, irregularity of the ejection amount characteristics of the metering valve 6 is corrected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
