PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membership service providing method and the like which reduce the work burden of member registration on a user by using a link relationship between a visible ID and an internal ID of an issued IC card to make an IC card reader unnecessary for member registration wherein user's personal information or the like is provided.;SOLUTION: A system 10 includes a member registration server 11, a service providing terminal 12, and a service providing server 13. The member registration server 11 is connected to a member information database 15 wherein visible IDs and member numbers are stored therein, and a visible ID/internal ID link information database 16 and receives the visible ID of an IC card 30 from a user terminal 22 to issue a member number in linkage with the visible ID. When the service providing terminal 12 reads an internal ID 37, the member registration server retrieves the visible ID/internal ID link information database to obtain the visible ID from the internal ID and obtains a member number from the visible ID, and then the service providing server provides a service to a member user 30 linked to the member number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
