PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital terrestrial broadcast television receiver which, even when a program under viewing is of a sub affiliate of a cross-network station, enables continuous viewing of a same-affiliated broadcasting station.SOLUTION: When a broadcast station under viewing becomes non-receivable, a control unit 3, on the basis of present location information output from a positional information acquisition unit 30, refers to additional information read from a storage unit 6 and performs automatic tuning by retrieving the same broadcast station as the broadcast station of a single-affiliated station under viewing from among the main affiliate and sub affiliates of the cross-network station, or performs automatic tuning by retrieving from among single-affiliated stations the same broadcast station as the main affiliate or sub affiliates of the cross-network station under viewing.
