PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently and quickly measure a sample with a high analysis degree without preparing a special tool or means during sample measurement by an ESR in an electronic spin resonance apparatus for applying a magnetostatic field to a cavity resonator having a cylindrical cavity and adding a microwave of a high frequency in the cavity resonator.;SOLUTION: The cavity resonator 6 includes a flat surface in which a circular cross section 11 of the inner cavity 10 thereof is inscribed, and has a hole 12 for emitting a micro wave outside the cavity resonator 6 at a position with which the circular cross section 11 on the flat surface comes into contact.
