PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation plant including a gas turbine which can accommodate fluctuation in the atmosphere temperature, and has enhanced transmission end efficiency, an intake air cooling control device in the power generation plant, and an operation control method of the power generation plant.;SOLUTION: The gas turbine power generation plant 1A has an intake air cooling device 100 for cooling the intake air of a compressor 3. The intake air cooling device 100 includes refrigerating machines 23A-23D, cooling water pumps 35A, 35B, an intake air cooler 8, a cooling water flow rate regulating valve 33, an intake air cooling control device 21 or the like. The intake air cooling control device 21 determines necessity/non-necessity of the operation of the intake air cooler 8 based on the gas turbine power generation target value and the atmospheric temperature TE5. When it is determined that the operation is requested, the number of a plurality of refrigerating machines 23A-23D in operation, the number of a plurality of cooling water pumps 35A, 35B in operation and the flow rate of the cooling water in the air intake cooler 8 are controlled based on the gas turbine power generation target value, the atmospheric temperature TE5, the compressor air intake temperature TE1, and the cooling water temperature TE3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
