PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinking agent assuring good balance of excellent heat resistance, flexural fatigue resistance, and wear resistance, and to provide a rubber composition containing the same, and a tire employing the rubber composition. PSOLUTION: The curing agent is represented by general formula (I) or (II), wherein RSP1/SPand RSP2/SPare the same or different and are each 1-18C hydrocarbon, and may form a ring structure by combining together mutually.
