PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for detection-quantification of the posttranslational modification of a protein as a tool useful for nondestructively detecting or quantifying the posttranslational modification, especially phosphorylation, of the protein in a living cell or in the living body of an animal, a plant or the like. PSOLUTION: There is provided the probe sequentially having the following amino acid sequences (1) to (5) from the N-terminal side: (1) The amino acid sequence of a cap protein; (2) the amino acid sequence of a modifiable polypeptide to whose N-terminal side a ubiquitin ligase-recognizing sequence is connected; (3) a ubiquitinizable linker sequence; (4) a modification recognizable sequence, and (5) the amino acid sequence of a chromogenic protein.
