The present invention provides a leukocyte remover for extracorporeal circulation, which has the following advantages: easy manufacture, high leukocyte removing performance and capability for treating a large amount of blood. The leukocyte remover for extracorporeal circulation is characterized in that: a filtering layer which is composed of a pre-filtering layer and a main filtering layer is accommodated in a container with a blood inlet and a blood outlet; the pre-filtering layer is composed of an agglutinator removing filtering material for removing the agglutinator which is contained in the blood; the main filtering layer is composed of leukocyte removing filtering material for removing the leukocytes that are contained in the blood; the agglutinator removing filtering material comprises one kind of fiber which has a denier of 0.7dtex-4.0dtex and has a fiber length of 1mm-80mm and bottom cloth that is formed by long fibers with fiber axes that are aligned in a planar direction. Furthermore the short fibers are interwoven on the bottom cloth so the weight in unit area is 10g/m2-80g/m2. The layers of the short fibers form a three-dimensional structure.
