PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cycloolefin resin film reduced in irregularily and singly produced tailing streaks markedly occurring when long-time operation of a day or above is performed and utilizable in a polarization plate, an optical compensation film, an antireflection film, a liquid crystal display device, etc. PSOLUTION: The cycloolefin resin film is manufactured by a touch roll method using pellets having a specific size distribution and characterized in that the number of tailing streaks with a height of 0.1-10 m is 10/mSP2/SPor below.
