Being the alumina quality sintering body which includes the titanium compound and the iron compound, the crystal of FeTiAlO₅ exists in the grain boundary of alumina crystal, it is the abrasive grain and the grindstone which become making use of the alumina quality sintering body, and the particular alumina quality sintering body where average crystal size of the said FeTiAlO₅ crystal is 3.4 - 7.0 millimicrons.
