PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display device capable of preventing POI icons from being overlapped and displaying its contents in an easy-to-see manner.;SOLUTION: The map display device 10 includes a map data storage part 21 storing map data, a POI data storage part 22 storing POI data useful in finding a specific position from the map data stored in the map data storage part 21, a map display control part 11 displaying specific map data corresponding to user's conditions for giving instructions among map data stored in the map data storage part 21, a determining part 15 determining whether any two specific POI data or more corresponding to the user's conditions for giving instructions among the POI data stored in the POI data storage part 22 are displayed while they are overlapped at a predetermined position on the specific map data or not, and a POI icon display control part 12 displaying the specific POI data which are determined that they are displayed while being overlapped at the predetermined position on the specific displayed map data while rotating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
