PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication device provided with a serial interface which establishes a link with a link width needed when the connection is established, an information processing device, a data communication method, a data communication program and a recording medium.;SOLUTION: In a PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) Express I/F circuit 30 of a controller ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) 5, a state transition management unit 34 monitors the state transition of a PCI Express 20, and outputs the state transition as a monitoring result to a mask signal generation circuit 40. The mask signal generation circuit 40 determines a transmission path to be used for data communication upon connection establishment in reference to path-link width information in which a transmission path to be used in a state after transition set by software is associated with a state transition path, based on the state transition transmitted from the mask signal generation circuit 40 upon connection, and causes a mask unit 31c to mask TxElecIdle signals St output from a MAC (Media Access Layer) 31a to a PHY (Physical Layer Device) 31b, on a transmission path other than the transmission path to be established.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
