PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase vertical load transmission performance at the joint part between a base isolation device and a column.;SOLUTION: A column 14 is supported by a base isolation device 12. At least the lower part of the column 14 is formed of a cylindrical body 40. A base plate 44 provided to the bottom end of the cylindrical body 40 is joined to the upper plate 18 of the base isolation device 12. In this state, the cylindrical body 40 is filled with concrete 42. Consequently, the concrete 42 flows into a through-hole 44A formed in the base plate 44, a thin sheet 46 which closes the through-hole 44A is pressed against the upper plate 18 under the filling pressure of the concrete 42 and the pressing force F due to the weight of the concrete 42 and the like, and the thin sheet 46 and the upper plate 18 are fitted to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
