PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing line guide for fitting a guide ring, and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: The fishing line guide 20 is attached to the outer side of a fishing rod 10. The fishing line guide has such a structure that the guide ring 20R for inserting a fishing line is held by a guide holding part 20A of a guide holder attached to the fishing rod. A projection 30 projecting to the other side is disposed at least in one of the guide ring and the guide holding part. The guide ring is fitted to the inner side of the guide holding part in such a way that the projection abuts to the other member.
