PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone with a function for analyzing causes of call failures which have occurred and notifying a user of the call failure.;SOLUTION: The cellular phone includes means for analyzing and reporting call failures (a control part 1, a memory part 3, a radio information part 9, a communication information part 10, a speech information part 11). During speech, radio information, sequence information, and speech information are logged. The radio information is based on the measurement of the electric field strength for radio waves received by the radio part 6. The sequence information is based on data communication between the radio part 6 and a radio base station via the relevant communication protocol. The speech information is based on data decoded by a speech processing part 8 and includes communication error information for communication failures along radio wave propagation path and data on levels of reproduced voice signals. At the end of the speech, an analysis is made as to whether any call failure has occurred, based on the radio, sequence, and/or speech information.
