PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving sealing structure for preventing leakage of a molding material of a skin from a cavity and to provide an automobile interior component including an attaching part for saving space by utilizing the sealing structure for an attaching structure with another part and reducing the size of a sealing part and a part necessary for the attachment, in lamination molding of the skin of the automobile interior component with the skin.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the molded article with the skin for forming a skin layer by arranging a base material in a die and closing the mold with an another mold and then inserting a skin material to form the skin layer. In the method, at least part of an end edge of the base material includes an extending part covering a space in a substantially V-shape apart from a side of the skin layer surface to be formed. The other mold has a form corresponding to the substantially V-shape space of the extending part of the base material. The sealing structure for sealing the skin molding material is formed in an inclining surface in the substantially V-shape between a shaped surface of the die and the base material end edge. The molded article is also provided.
