PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate control method and a flow rate control system for a rotary displacement type pump enabling measurement of flow rate in a wide range by using a flowmeter having a narrow flow rate measurement range, not simply restricted in kinds and a measurement range of a flowmeter, capable of accurately controlling flow rate of a wide range by using an inexpensive and compact flowmeter measurable only in a narrow range, and capable of automatically determining abnormality of apparatus during pump operation, abnormality of an operation condition, a lifetime of a pump, and wear of components.;SOLUTION: In the flow rate control system for the rotary displacement type pump generating a flow rate proportional to the rotation speed, the flowmeter 3 capable of measuring the flow rate of a narrow range as compared to a flow rate zone which can be generated by the pump is used. The system is provided with a proportion coefficient measurement means determining a proportion coefficient (inclination) at a rotation speed of one measurement point if the rotation speed and the flow rate has a direct proportion relation passing through an origin, and a means calculating the pump flow rate form the rotation speed of the pump 2 based on the proportion coefficient determined by the proportion coefficient measurement means and controlling the pump flow rate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
