PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux cored wire for gas shielded arc welding that fully satisfies mechanical properties of weld metal, that is adaptable to all position welding, and that also improves welding quality.;SOLUTION: The flux cored wire contains in mass% 4.5-7.0% Ti oxide in terms of TiO₂, 0.3-0.6% Si oxide in terms of SiO₂, 0.1-0.6% Zr oxide in terms of ZrO₂, 0.05-0.25% total of Na compound and K compound in terms of Na₂O and K₂O respectively, 0.02-0.10% metal fluoride in terms of F, 0.03-0.07% C, 0.30-0.60% Si, 1.2-2.0% Mn, wherein Mn/Si is 3.0-5.5, 0.3-0.6% Al, 0.08-0.58% Fe oxide in terms of FeO and wherein Al/FeO is 1.0-4.5, 0.1-0.5% Mg, 0.2-0.6% Ni, 0.45-0.75% Cr, 0.3-0.6% Cu, and the balance essentially made up of Fe portion etc., of steel jacket.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
