PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable creation of a mood similar to one that is felt when a finished painting is signed immediately after creating the painting.SOLUTION: A photographed image is converted into a picturesque image (step S104) to which a signature is input (step S106). Then, colors included in the photographed image or the picturesque image are detected, and the detected multiple colors are displayed as a signature selection candidate (step S107). Then, the color to be used for the signature is selected from the multiple colors displayed as the signature selection candidate (step S108), and the input signature with the selected color is disposed on the converted picturesque image (step S109). Alternatively, a contour on the painting is extracted, and the signature is disposed along the extracted contour. These signature-disposed images are displayed (step S114, S113). Therefore, a mood similar to one that is felt when a finished painting is signed can be created.
