An apparatus includes: an input unit to which a search keyword for searching for medical or health information of search target is inputted; a related disease name acquisition unit configured to analyze an administration information database in which administration information of prescriptions-treatments for patients and disease names are stored in association with each other, and thereby to acquire related diseases name related to the disease name; a medical or health information search unit configured to search for medical or health information stored in a medical or health information database on the basis of the search keyword and the related disease names; and a display unit configured to display the medial or health information thus searched out.
