ACCELERATED UV IRRADIATION TEST ON COATINGS

The present disclosure is directed to a process for testing UV irradiation on a target coating. The process provides high UV irradiation having one or more UV irradiation wavelengths in a range of from 250 nm to 450 nm and a peak irradiation power in a range of from 400 W/m² to 20,000 W/m². The process provides accelerated testing for coatings that can be completed within a few minutes to a few hours instead of a few thousand hours to many months by conventional testing methods. The process can test one or more target coatings and control coatings under one or more selected testing conditions.
